When Alex and Philip said they wanted to capture their love story before their wedding in Glencoe and the surrounds I was definitely up for that. We started early in Edinburgh where they were based and exchanged love letters for heading out on a road trip to the wild Rannoch Moor, Glen Etive and Glencoe. Being an experienced Glencoe Scotland elopement film photographer meant I had the real pleasure of showing Alex and Philip all the sights, something I am very passionate about as a photographer. It’s no secret that I love Scotland, and I love the Scottish Highlands even more. With a great-grandfather of Scots-decent there’s a little of this beautiful country in me I think.
This session is what I call a Love Story Session. I worked with Alex and Philip to create a road trip story which brought focus to their love. Photographing a couple’s magnetic connection and something of their energy is something I am very passionate about.
If you are looking for a Glencoe Scotland elopement film photographer or maybe want to capture a love story session like this whether you’re getting married or not, or are already married, I’d love to hear from you. But for now, I’ll let Alex and Philip’s story unfold….
Huge thanks as always to Canadian Film Lab for their epic film processing and scanning service.
