I met up with Leah and Alfonso for their Durdle Door engagement shoot as they had made a trip from their home in the North of England to visit Leah’s parents. As a Dorset wedding photographer I was so excited to have the opportunity to share the gorgeous Durdle Door with one of my couples.
We worked on some ideas for a location with woodlands and the coast being hot favourites for them both. With a little bit of scouting around Dorset we settled on some beautiful woodlands near historic Corfe Castle and then on to Durdle Door for the most perfect evening sunset engagement session.
This part of the world is so special, for me personally it’s the memories of childhood holidays. It’s secluded and peaceful, and it felt like the perfect place for a gorgeous woodland and coastal engagement session. It’s not long now until their wedding in Winchester and I can’t wait!
This is why I love doing engagement sessions before weddings, it us all to get to know each other better plus I love searching out locations that really speak to the couple, it’s so lovely to be able to gift additional wedding memories to my couples in this way.
