The last thing I want to say to any couple is wow isn’t your wedding coming around quickly because first it can sound scarier than it should, and secondly it feels like your willing it on to rush by. Ciara and Mike’s festival themed wedding in the Kent countryside very much embodies that feeling. I first met up with them at home in Essex the year before and when their wedding day came around at the beginning of May this year I was staggered that Wonkiwifest (a play on their surname and Ciara’s first name) was already here!
There were so many great moments of this wedding; the ceremony lead by Katie Keen of True Blue Ceremonies with Ciara and Mike’s personalised vows was extremely touching. Oh and also some of the most memorable speeches and performances of any wedding I have been to when Mike’s band reformed, as well as Ciara’s dad singing a tribute. And there was of course the utterly hilarious music video that Mike and his mates including his three best men made. In fact Ciara’s cardboard cutout from the video made a cameo appearance later on in the evening.
And between all the wonderful fun there was still time to capture some beautiful portraits with Ciara and Mike together with the wonderful lush gardens of Blue House Farm. I am sure you will also love the details that were put together including Mike’s dad’s green fingered touches. Everything was wonderful about the festival styled wedding with a fine art photography approach.
