I just love it when I get enquiries through that really do tick all the boxes as a creative person. Julia and Mike were looking for a Horsham wedding photographer with a fine art photography style and everything they said about their day was exactly what I love.
A relaxed wedding focused on a wedding at the local church (St. Mary’s in Shipley) with the reception on their parent’s farm just outside of Horsham in a beautifully decorated marquee full of plenty of personal touches, including a chill out area. Also check out their amazing lighting with the large spheres, works of sculpture in themselves.
As a Horsham wedding photographer they really wanted someone to capture the wedding beautifully but in a relaxed way and that suits my style perfectly! We may have also had a bit of rain but that didn’t stop the enjoyment of the day. Also, the vintage Land Rover entrance from the church really had their wedding guests enraptured!
I loved this chill out area part of the marquee, a little bit of cosy in the outdoors! The use of milk churns as well was a great detail bringing out the farm setting too.
Most of my couples book me for my candid photograohy, the real moments and emotions, but I do capture a few family portraits and as I had captured Julia and her bridesmaids earlier in the day, I made sure I had Mike’s groomsmen front and centre for a picture too, as it was requested! My couples really work with me to bespoke their coverage in my style.
